Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport. Your local tour guide will meet you at the gate and transfer to the hotel. After settling in a cozy hotel room, you will have an Old Tbilisi tour. Starting from Metekhi Plateau, the tour guide will make you familiar with the history of the country and its capital city. You will take a Cable Cart ride to the 4th-century Narikala Fortress, from where a pleasant walk in the old narrow streets of Tbilisi will lead to a small waterfall in the district of Baths. You also will visit places such as Sioni Cathedral, Synagogue, Mosque, a 6th Century Anchiskhati Church, you will see the underground tunnel at Gorgasali Square, Gabriadze Theatre, etc.

In the morning meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby. Your destination on that day will be the first capital of Georgia, Mtskheta. Mtskheta has always been a spiritual center of the country. Here you will visit 6th-century Jvari Monastery and 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, both of the churches have an amazing history. Another marvelous monastery complex, Shio—Mgvime will be your next destination (20km away from Mtskheta). This place is extremely beautiful, though it’s not visited much by tourists. Monk Shio was one of the 13 Assyrian Fathers who came to Georgia to preach Christianity in the 6th century. Also in Mtskheta, you can taste delicious local Georgian food. In the evening, return to Tbilisi and leisure time.

On this day you will visit the wine region of Georgia, called Kakheti. Besides the wine cellars and vineyards, the region is famous for its beautiful nature. First, you will drive to the marvelous Bodbe Monastery. There you can enjoy beautiful views over Alazani Valley. Not far away from the monastery, you will make another stop at the small town of Sighnaghi, which is also known as one of the most romantic towns in Georgia. You can walk the narrow stoneware streets and check out the 18th-century defensive walls surrounding the city. After that, you will head to Corporation Kindzmarauli for wine degustation. It is located at the historic Kvareli castle in the town of Kvareli. Back in the Middle Ages, this winery was producing wine for the Georgian Royal family. Following Kindzmarauli, you will visit another winery in the Napareuli region, called “Twins Wine Cellar”. First, you will have a tour of a small wine museum there, and after, the delicious traditional Georgian cuisine will await you in the yard of the wine cellar.

Later in the evening, return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

In the morning after breakfast, you will head towards one of the most historical places in Georgia, Uplistsikhe. It’s an ancient town carved in the stone mountains in the 4th century BC. Visitors are always thrilled by the mystical surroundings of this place. After Uplistsikhe the trip can continue to Joseph Stalin’s hometown Gori, where you can visit the Museum of Stalin. (OPTIONAL). The museum includes a house where Stalin was born, a train that he used for transportation, and a Museum building itself. From here the road will continue to Borjomi. Borjomi is world-famous for its mineral waters – the natural mineral springs that flow from the ground. Its’ mineral waters are perfect for health, cure stomach pains, and have a medicinal purpose for people with intestines problems.

Later in the evening, return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

In the morning, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and on this day you will drive to the Great Caucasian Mountains, Kazbegi region. Before you achieve the final Destination you will see Jinvali water Reservoir, the 17th-century Ananuri Complex, and the Gudauri ski resort. In the Kazbegi region, you will stop at the village Stepantsminda, change the vehicle (4×4 SUV), and will drive up to the mountains to visit the 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church. This day will be full of excitement, lots of photo stops, and breathtaking landscapes at the height of 2,400 meters above sea level. Later in the evening, you will return to Tbilisi and leisure time. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Depending on your departure time, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
