batumi city tour

batumi tour

Batumi is a beautiful seaside city located at the coast of the black sea, all the way down to west Georgia. It’s around 370kms away from Tbilisi, taking about 5-6 hours to drive, but from Kutaisi, it’s only 150kms away and it takes no longer than 2:30 hours to get there. In the early 2000s, massive constructions started all over the city and as of today the city grew much bigger and much higher. There are many luxury hotels, modern apartments, nice restaurants, beautiful parks, crowded casinos, and so on. Many people even compare it to Las Vegas, but instead of the desert (just like in Vegas), there is a sea in Batumi which adds extra juice to the place.

There are many things one can do in Batumi and the company will gladly negotiate with guests, in order to plan a perfect Batumi tour for you, however, a couple of activities that we can suggest you right now are a visit to Gonio fortress which is located 15-20 minutes away from Batumi, and a visit to Batumi Botanical Garden that amazes tourists with its very diverse nature, to be exact, altogether the collection includes 500 different plants occupying 110 hectares of the land.

sighnaghi tour

sighnaghi (kakheti)

Sighnaghi is a beautiful small town located in the lower part of the wine region, Kakheti. Because of the hilly area, the town was mainly used for defensive purposes. Sighnaghi is surrounded by a huge stone wall and its length is 4 kilometers long. There were 28 towers along those walls which had few gates installed in between. In case of enemy attacks, the gates were opened so the people from nearby villages could run inside a town in order to find shelter.  In the early 2000s, the restoration works took place, and now Sighnaghi is full of restaurants, bars, parks, museums, and many pleasant places where the guests can enjoy their time at 800 meters above sea level.
