Day 1: Arrival, Airport Transfer – Kutaisi Tour (Bagrati, Motsameta, Gelati)
Arrival at Kutaisi International Airport. Your tour guide meets you at the airport and transfers to the Hotel. After you settle in your comfortable hotel room, Kutaisi tour will begin. Kutaisi is one of the oldest cities in Georgia and since Tbilisi would often got to the hands of conquerors, it was up to Kutaisi to make its stand and keep the Georgian traditional way of life. The history of this city can be older than the history of many countries combine together, however, on your first day, we will visit few important places that determined the future of the country in later centuries.
First, we visit 10th-century Bagrati Cathedral which is located close to the center of the city. After we will head to Motsameta Monastery, an old church located a few kilometers away from Kutaisi, besides the church, you can enjoy with beautiful views that this place offers. From there, we head to Gelati Monastery, a 12th-century complex (churches plus academy) which astonishes viewers with its rich history. Also, you will taste the most delicious Georgian food in the country, since there is no other region in the world that makes better food than Imereti and its capital city Kutaisi.

Day 2: Kutaisi – Sataplia – Okatse Canyon – Martvili Canyon – Kutaisi
In the morning you meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and on this day you will visit canyons in the Samegrelo region. However, first, we stop at Sataplia Natural Reserve, located 15 kilometers away from Kutaisi. This place contains over 300 hectares of Natural Reserve that features forests, karst caves, and dinosaur footprints.
From here we will go to Okatse Canyon. To get to the canyon we will walk around 3 km (one way) in a beautiful forest (off-road jeep transfer is also an option). After Okatse Canyon our next destination is a small town in the Samegrelo region, Martvili. Canyons in this region are huge and extremely beautiful, however, in Martvili, only a small part is open for the tourists, where one can have a pleasant walk in nature and enjoy a boat ride in the river passing through a canyon.
In the evening we return to Kutaisi Hotel and Leisure time.
Day 3: Kutaisi – Prometheus Cave – Lechkhumi (Qulbaqi Lakes) – Kutaisi
In the morning, meet your tour guide at the lobby and we start a day with the most visited destination in Georgia, Prometheus Cave. This is a real magical long natural cave that counts thousands of years of its existence. Cave itself is very long, however, only part of it is discovered and an even smaller part is open for the visitors. There are around 12 ‘rooms’ available for the visitors to see, and the walking distance is 1.8 kilometers in a tunnel that goes through 40 meters below the sea level.
After the cave, we will drive to a beautiful mountain region of west Georgia, Lechkhumi. Our main destination here will be Qulbaqi Lakes, which is a private complex that includes cottages, a lake, and several artificial pools where mountain fish – Trout are available for fishing. Here we will make a fire and have a Trout barbeque along with other traditional Georgian food. After dinner we can have a pleasant walk around a lake and later in the evening, we will drive back to Kutaisi.

Day 4: Kutaisi – Batumi (Botanical Garden, Batumi City Tour) – (Kutaisi or Batumi)
As usual, in the morning meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and on this day you will be visiting the Adjara region. The beautiful view of the black sea waves is about 2 hours away from Kutaisi. Before our final destination, we will be driving along the sea coast, passing a few small summer resorts, and enjoying the view of the sea.
Botanical Garden is 10 km away from Batumi city on the Black Sea shore and actually, it is one of the largest botanical gardens in the former Soviet Union territory. It extends almost 110 hectares on a hillside and takes about 1½ hours to walk the main path at a relaxed pace. This place is almost 250 meters above sea level, which gives you the perfect opportunity to see Batumi city like the palm of your hand.
After completing the tour in Botanical Garden, we will head to Batumi itself, where an old Batumi city tour will start. Since this place is considered as “the Las Vegas of the Black Sea”, anyone can find something to entertain themselves with.
On the way, before or after the Batumi tour, if time allows, we will stop at Dendrological Park in Shekvetili. This place was recently opened in 2020 by billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili and is a must-see destination in Adjara region.
Depending on your departure flight time the following day, we can offer an overnight in Batumi, or return to Kutaisi after the tour.
Day 5: Departure – Transfer to the Airport
Meet your driver at the hotel lobby. Transfer to Kutaisi Airport.
